Tottenham let us down for a win on our weekend accumulator and by all accounts they had the beating of Newcastle with the majority of the possession but no finishing power. With their new signing Solanke out injured , he may have been the key to opening up Newcastle. The pressure on new signings especially strikers to perform must be immense. The longer that first goal takes the more shovels of stress get piled on. Having said that , on their money I’d eat it up. I think he will be a good signing for Tottenham and look forward to watching him through the season. Man Utd had a howler against Liverpool and it could have been a much bigger score-line. Everybody was chomping at the bit to blame Casemiro who did have a terrible game and his mistakes led to two of the Liverpool goals. But I think the goals were coming anyway and the problems at United are deeper than individual players. They should bounce back at the weekend against Southampton so we stuck them in our accumulator. A loss there would be disastrous for them. We had no luck at Chester last weekend and just one winner and a 2nd yesterday. Some big races at Haydock and Ascot over the weekend so with some lady luck we will bag a few.
